Also note that there will be a hardcover edition containing all five issues – to be published in October and available now for pre-order. You can view information at the Marvel Comics website, but check your local comic book store for ordering details. [I have to add here that my local comic book store, Earth Prime Comics, has been the most helpful and accommodating retail store of any I have patronized in a long time! – I might even return to my early years as an avid Superman / Batman comics reader just to continue to visit them – or maybe even find a graphic novel or two!]

I am really looking forward to read these comics! Good to know about this hardcover edition, guess I will end up buying it…
Amazon states that in May 2010 will also come out the graphic novel on “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies”, do you have any further information on that one?

Hello Sarah, I have all the comics and actually have been enjoying them! – will also get the hardcover edition to add to my P&P collection.
Yes, I heard that there will be a graphic novel based on the P&P and Zombies to be published by Del Ray in 2010: “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Graphic Novel will be adapted by Tony Lee, a veteran comics writer who has worked on X-Men, Spider-Man and other comics series, and artist Cliff Richards, who has worked on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer comics series.” [from Publisher’s Weekly] – Amazon says it is available for pre-order and will be out in May. Yikes! I am not sure I can handle all this zombie / vampire stuff yet again – although it seems so much more appropriate for a graphic novel and will likely be quite ghoulish, bloody, and violent – and be a bestseller as a result!
Thanks for visiting!

Hello. Unfortunately, I can’t really count myself among the Jane Austin fan-base. (I sort of stumbled upon this blog post.) I am a comic book fan, however, and I’d like to recommend a few series that may be of interest to such a literate crowd. If you get a chance, check these out:
1. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (personal favorite)
2. Sandman
3. Y: The Last Man
Wikipedia has detailed entries on all three series.
Thanks for reading this,
