The Brontes fared well today: there were two lots of books by all three : Lot 55 sold for $80,500 [Wuthering Heights and Agnes Grey]; Lot 56 sold for $33,750. [leather bound 1st editions of Emily, Charlotte and Anne, 17 volumes total].

Hello James – Lot 5 was the Pride and Prejudice 1st edition – it sold for $35,000 [includes buyer’s premium] – the other Austen lots were 50 – 54. I have added the final results in red on my post to include the buyer’s premium and the results of Lot 5 – I had signed on after Lot 5 sold and could not get the results until the auction was over.
