  1. Great review of your vist to Chawton Deb. I also did a tour of the cottage on Sunday. I had an entry ticket from last year which still had one day to go on the purchase date. We held the Jane Austen Literacy Foundation event at Dyers Barn. From the churchyard of St Nicholas you can just about see it in the fields. You all certainly had a good time. Did i tell you that Marilyn and i have tickets for 8 College Street in August before it closes to the public again?

    1. Excellent that you got tickets for 8 College Street – it is quite emotional. And saw your info on the JALF event – so glad you continue to work on that with them. I look forward to meeting Caroline when she comes to the JASNA Baltimore AGM in October – she is speaking to us about life at Chawton.

  2. Thank you, Deb, for sharing the great pictures of Chawton House from the trip with JASNA this year! The house looks wonderful, and I love the photos of you all at the luncheon served in the Great Hall. What a treat for everyone.
